Systems (14)
- Round loop: lobby countdown, then an 8-minute Playing phase, Escape, Results and back to the lobby. Players find 5 fuses, insert them at the office breaker box, and the parking lot gate opens
- Night Clerk AI: patrols, is drawn to lit flashlights within 40 studs and to running footsteps, chases, then grabs a player and drags them backwards to the ice machine. Paths cover both floors and all 12 rooms, stairs included
- Player kit: flashlight with a 90-second battery, 3 wall recharge sockets, sprint, first-person camera, and 4 hiding spot types (closet, bed, bathtub, vending nook), each with its own hiding pose
- Capture and rescue: a teammate frees a caught player by holding E for 4 s. When every player is caught, a 12 s last chance starts, in which a Revive Token frees you, followed by 3 s of Grace at the ice machine exit
- Progression saved in DataStores: Keys earned per escape, 7 flashlight skins (Standard plus 6 unlockable), Revive Tokens, settings and audio volumes, and the tutorial flag
- Store code: Bright Bulb game pass (+30 s battery) and 7 developer products, including Revive Token, with Robux grants handled on the server
- Full two-floor motel map: dressed rooms, office, laundry, drained pool, lot, highway, bus-stop lobby and desert edge. Most models were built with Kiln (Night Clerk, props, furniture, landmarks)
- Near pitch-black night lighting: no lights in the rooms, faint moonlight through the windows, flickering neon and sodium fixtures, and floodlights that come on at the gate only during the escape
- 37 sounds: lobby, tension, chase and escape music, a desert ambience bed, 3D neon and moth loops, and clerk screech and footsteps timed to its animation clips
- Animation: 7 Night Clerk clips (idle, walk, run, search, screech, grab, drag) and 7 player clips (flashlight hold, fuse carry and insert, hide, dragged, caught, freeing)
- 12 visual effects: moth swarms at every light, dust in the flashlight beam, fuse glow, sparks, a burst on the grab, and clerk eyes that glint in the flashlight
- UI: HUD, lobby, shop, caught screen, results receipt, settings with a credits page, and fades. A first-time tutorial can be skipped or replayed
- Controls for every device: thumbstick and camera swipe on phones with spaced flashlight, sprint and interact buttons, plus keyboard and gamepad
- Store art: 5 thumbnail candidates, a game icon and 8 store item icons

- It's a prototype, not a finished game: the core loop plays and the systems listed work, but polishing, balancing, testing and adding content before you launch is significant work of your own.
- You need Roblox Studio (free) to open it.
- Animations and sounds only play for the account that uploaded them: the included tool re-uploads them to yours (Node.js and an Open Cloud API key, about 10 minutes; SETUP.md walks you through it).
- Store items use placeholder ids until you create your own.
