The core loop

Every minute, divers swim down, catch creatures and open chests, then race back up for air and bank their jars at the boat's tank before running out of oxygen. Across an expedition the crew works toward solving the temple and vent puzzles, reaching the Grand Chest in the Abyss Grotto and setting a high score that pays out Pearls to spend on upgrades.

Systems (14)
  • Expedition flow: Boat → 5 s countdown → Diving → Over after 3 team deaths → 12 s results → Boat. Starts with a button or automatically 20 s after the first player joins, and late joiners can dive in
  • Oxygen: 90 s of air that drains 1.5x faster while sprinting and refills in 3 s at the surface. At 0 air, divers lose 15 HP/s. Low-air alarm at 20 s, drowning, and a 5 s respawn on deck
  • Swimming works on keyboard, gamepad and touch, with diver animations for idle, swim, sprint, tread, catch, interact and drown
  • 6 collectible creatures across 3 zones (Glowfish 10, Seahorse 15, MoonJelly 30, StarOctopus 50, LanternAngler 80, GhostNautilus 150). Rare ones dart away from sprinting divers. Jars hold 3 and only score once banked at the boat tank
  • Treasure: chests worth 100 and a Grand Chest worth 500 in the Abyss Grotto
  • Temple puzzle: turn 3 ancient crystals 90° at a time until the beam chains into the receptor, which slides the vault door open (+200)
  • Abyss puzzle: 2 valves each make their vent erupt for 12 s, and both erupting at once rolls the passage gate aside (+200)
  • 3 sharks patrol the deep on collision-checked routes. They notice divers, circle, charge and bite for 35 HP, and deaths record whether a shark or drowning caused them
  • 6 crew signals (Follow, Treasure, Shark, Air, Help, OK) on a wheel and hotkeys, each with its own hand animation and a world ping for teammates
  • HUD for oxygen, depth, jars, crew, deaths and score, plus a boat panel, countdown, death overlay, results screen and settings menu (volume, music, controls). Layouts are tuned for phones and the TV safe area
  • 7-step first-dive tutorial from the deck to the first banked creature, with Skip and Replay. Its done flag is saved
  • Saving: Pearls (TeamScore/10 per expedition), best score, Pearl upgrades for air and jar size, and cosmetics
  • Dive Shop with 4 game passes and 6 developer products, including a crew revive that works within a 15 s window. Each purchase is granted exactly once in Studio test purchases
  • Full art and audio: Kiln-made models for the boat, temple, ruins, reef, coral, shipwreck, 6 rigged creatures, a rigged shark and dive gear, plus music and ambience by depth, 41 sounds, 13+ underwater effects, ambient fish schools, 5 thumbnails and a game icon

Before you buy
  • It's a prototype, not a finished game: the core loop plays and the systems listed work, but polishing, balancing, testing and adding content before you launch is significant work of your own.
  • You need Roblox Studio (free) to open it.
  • Animations and sounds only play for the account that uploaded them: the included tool re-uploads them to yours (Node.js and an Open Cloud API key, about 10 minutes; SETUP.md walks you through it).
  • Automated tests: 113 pass, 0 fail, 16 not run. They show what was checked, not a promise; TESTS.md in the package names each one.
